What an outstanding location above Saulgrub. The view of the Ammergau Alps is simply beautiful. The interior is also breathtaking, especially the extremely narrow staircase leading up to the gallery.

The church is dilapidated, as the General Vicariate of Munich apparently has no money for branch churches. It seems Munich doesn't care about the faithful in rural areas. There's only one entrance, which would be a problem in an emergency.
