The Castle Church of St. Michael is located in the inner courtyard of Tittmoning Castle. A visit to the church itself was not possible due to the coronavirus lockdown; the museum was also closed (as of January 2021).

A very beautiful and picturesque little church. The high altar features a painting by the famous artist Johann Michael Rottmayer. It can be viewed as part of a castle tour. A tour of the castle and museum is highly worthwhile!

It's a shame the church isn't always open and can only be visited in combination with a castle tour. So you need to check in advance. Guided tours are generally only offered in the afternoon and not at all times of the year.
