The church was built around 1300. Numerous renovations took place in the following years: the west tower was added in 1598, a Gothic renovation after a fire in 1624, the hall and tower were added in 1836, and the choir in 1930. A life-size miner's statue and the Oehme organ, built in 1774, are worth seeing.
