The church is a three-nave Basilica with a high cross-vaulted ceiling in the west tower. The design of the dividing inner-wall exhibits the round-arched arcade design typical of Roman-Gothic style.

You can go to the top (up 4 floors) by elevator or steps. Their is 169 stone circular steps with 28 wooden steps totalling 197 - trust me we walked them. Once you get to the top you can pay to look in a telescope but pictures are free. The bottom floor is fantastically painted and designed.
