The church is always closed. A place like that should be open 24 hours a day; I'll never understand it. Even during the festival, I was there three times and had to sit on the bench in front of the church. Christians are denied access to prayer.

A wonderfully hospitable priest who spontaneously invited us for an espresso by the Niers river during a bike ride. We had insightful conversations at the garden table in the parish garden.
