We stumbled across this church whilst walking from the 3 countries bridge and from the nearby square. Very quiet and peaceful area when we went.

Interesting building of the old church. Reminds me of something ancient Roman. But it was closed, I was interested to see the interior. But there is now a concert hall. The new church of St. Peter, built at the beginning of the 20th century, also turned out to be closed.

The church was built in 1680 and is the last completely intact fragment of the fort. It was dedicated to Saint Louis IX. In 1934, it was abandoned due to the construction of a new church. In 1975, it was completely restored and is now used for concerts and exhibitions.
