The church was closed when I visited. The bell tower was topped with a spire, like some buildings in my old region. When it finally opened, the interior was magnificent, a superb chancel with stunning paintings. A visit is definitely worthwhile if you're in the area.
The church is definitely worth a visit. It's clearly in use, because it was packed with people when we went, and we had to wait for it to be finished. We were truly surprised by how well maintained it is, how wonderfully painted and restored in every aspect.
