We ended up here following a detour and rested at the top of the hill. Suddenly there was beautiful music...a pianist and violinist were there practicing for a concert and we sat there listening as they went through their repertoire. It was beautiful and a highlight of our time in France.

A peaceful spot surrounded by vineyards. The Loire River is visible from a magnificent vantage point. Very relaxing. It's a shame we couldn't visit it.
