You can't miss it. Listed as a historical monument since 1927. Its promontory has allowed it to escape the Dordogne River's many floods. You have to cross the river on foot to appreciate it even more. A footbridge makes it easy to do so; a lovely walk.
When I visited, there were displays of handicrafts for sale and information about the town's historical figures. The combination was interesting because the interior still resembles a place of worship, so you can see a polychrome carving of Saint Jerome next to a stand of bracelets and so on. Personally, I really liked it.
A pretty Romanesque chapel on the banks of the Dordogne. Open during the tourist season for exhibitions.
