Ancient and Beautiful. It was partly closed when I visited but staffs took us to the construction site anyhow, my first impression was that interior must not be that beautiful, but while I saw inside the church, the architectural elements of this building are well arranged and constructed. The building needs a better attention though.

One of the most beautiful churches in Flanders, dedicated to St. Martin, now that the statue is inside, it's great that they are still working on its restoration. Image of St. Rocha by P. Rubens, this time, on the way from Antwerp, free to see. Awesome atmosphere.

One of the most beautifull churches I have seen in Belgium, iy is really big, clean, with excellent paintings and statues, you must go there and feel the ancient air! it is a pitty that there are reconstruction works, you can see just about half of the church, Cons: it is open just till 1700
