Another gem on the Meuse River. A beautiful church where the Blessed Virgin Mary is venerated under the title "Our Lady of Rest." This church in Heppeneert houses a centuries-old statue of Mary in a reclining position, with her head bowed and hands clasped. Behind her stands the apostle John.
