Chapelle Saint Roch
Rue du Château, 6887 Herbeumont, Belgium
Chapelle Saint Roch is a chapel located in Herbeumont.
Just below the castle ruins, nothing extraordinary but worth going there.
A tiny place, just the kind I love to discover. The Chapel hosts a high-quality art installation every year.
The Saint-Roch chapel dates from the 17th century. It was erected by the inhabitants of Herbeumont to implore the saint during a plague epidemic that ravaged the region (1635). It was listed as a historical monument on January 6, 1983, and restored in 2009.
