This is a little known gem in the middle of Austria. The highlight for me is the Japanese garden behind the church, but the church interior and the views of the Alps are also stunning.

We were mainly in Admont for the library - but this little gem was well worth the detour. You drive up a hill on a steep but good road. The parking lot is spacious but from there you need to walk uphill a good bit to the church. The church …
