Sieben Rusten Altar is a chapel located in Hohenruppersdorf.
A beautifully situated spot, nestled in the Hohenruppersdorf Forest. To the right is the small Sieben Rusten Chapel, and to the left, between the trees, stands a guardian angel statue. This one dates from 1790; the chapel was built in 1867, and the altar with its wooden cross was added in 1979.
The Seven Rusts Altar was redesigned in 1979 under the parish priest, Father Johann Kovacs. A wooden cross was erected, and in front of it, a plaster cast of Christ was placed. …
