Pfarrkirche Thörl-Maglern (Hl. Andreas) is a catholic church located in Arnoldstein.
A little hidden away...but absolutely worth seeing because of what are probably the most important Gothic frescoes in Carinthia...The famous frescoes can be viewed every day from 9 am to 6 pm (winter hours: 9 am to 5 pm). A light timer switch is located to the right of the sacristy door.
A small treasure chest for a great one: inside is one of the most important Gothic fresco cycles in Carinthia.
Today, one enters the church, consecrated in 1489, through a spacious, bright vestibule. From here, one proceeds into the original 15th-century church. The first thing that catches the eye is the 17th-century Madonna of the Rosary hanging …
