A place that vividly presents the history and fascination of St. Hemma of Gurk. The Gothic church with its stained-glass windows and the magnificent altar with its diverse sculptural decorations is simply breathtaking. A gem that is unfortunately too often overlooked. ABSOLUTELY WORTH SEEING!

The church is one of the oldest in the Gurk Valley and in Carinthia, over 1000 years old. Throughout history, it has been repeatedly renovated and expanded, giving it its present appearance, which is beautiful and well worth a visit.
