The view from Penzenstein over the Danube is fantastic. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to this viewpoint from the small parking lot.

A beautiful chapel, built directly on a rocky outcrop with breathtaking views over the Danube Valley. From here you can see Engelszell Abbey, Engelhartszell, and the Jochenstein power plant, which is the largest hydroelectric power plant in Germany. Highly recommended!
