A beautiful Baroque church with a richly decorated altar and several side altars. The first altar on the right from the entrance features a painting of the birth of Jesus. The gate is closed during the day. The church seems to be quite popular – I was there for maybe five minutes, and during that time three people came to pray.

The church, built between 1627 and 1651 (imperial charter of foundation in 1629), was burned down by the Ottomans during the Second Turkish Siege in 1683 and rebuilt until 1686 (tower built in 1717; new tower roof in 1832).
