At first glance, there's nothing to see here; it's a place of peace and contemplation: Rather, what's being contemplated here is one's own inner self, if you're willing to allow it. Apart from that, it's an idyllic spot, quickly accessible from Stans via a trail. This continues as a direct route up to St. Georgenberg.

Beautiful little church. We had a lunch break here and were greeted by one of the gentlemen who was in charge of maintaining the church. We had a lovely lunch in his company. The church is very beautiful. A fantastic place to take a break before the final descent towards the city.
