It's a very beautiful church. A former defensive tower dating back to the time of the Turkish siege. The cemetery has been recognized as one of the most beautiful cemeteries in Lower Austria.

My bike tour took me to the Catholic church in Scharndorf. Originally a fortified tower from the 11th century, it was converted into a church. It blends perfectly into the landscape and is in a beautiful, well-preserved condition.
