In 1782, the Protestants around Goisern were permitted to build a wooden prayer house. This was replaced by a stone building between 1813 and 1816. It wasn't until 1859 that the building received a church tower with bells and a clock. The most recent interior renovation was a worthwhile and beneficial improvement.
